CASE STUDY

Villa 5, The Woods, Dublin Street, Queenstown Hill

TESTIMONIAL

“Selling the home is not something we do everyday. Sam and Elizabeth gave us extreme comfort in that they fully understood the target market for our property and tailored their campaign accordingly.

They worked well beyond our expectations of any real estate agent. The delivery of a fantastic result ultimately came from their in depth knowledge of the Central Queenstown market and ability to obtain the trust and confidence of both vendor and purchaser.

We would highly recommend Sam and Elizabeth to anyone considering selling”

Overview

Following the meeting with vendors and presenting our appraisal and marketing strategy, we were engaged by the vendors to sell their special family holiday home. The property had previously been on the market with another agency for approximately 12 months.

Vendors wanted to sell but only at a level that they felt fairly reflected the value of their property We had previously sold the only other Woods Villa to come to the market over the past decade and had a sound understanding and appreciation of these properties.

Upon formally listing the property, we were able to collate all information, create marketing material and get the listing live within a week We reached out to a buyer (Singapore-based Kiwi) who had missed out on a previous listing of ours and encouraged them to give serious consideration to this opportunity.

After several conversations and video viewings the buyers made an conditional offer that, following negotiation, was accepted During the due diligence process we worked closely with the buyers and their various representatives to ensure they had all the information they required Following a robust two weeks the Purchasers confirmed the contract and subsequently flew to NZ to see their new home for the first time. They are delighted with their purchase and were very grateful for our input and assistance through the process.

Days on the Market

Seven days until the conditional contract was in place. Contract confirmed unconditional after Due Siligence and securing VA Consent.
